Collegiate Facilitators
What does a Collegiate Facilitator do?
The Collegiate Facilitators play an integral role in the National 4-H Conference. Collegiate Facilitators lead conference round tables, which educate delegates on the history of 4-H as the nations largest and oldest youth development organization. Facilitators lead delegates in the exploration of issues facing young people and how 4-H and the broader spectrum of youth development can help them in becoming better citizens. Facilitators lead “Citizenship Excursions”, where delegates explore the Nations Capital and seek to gain an understanding of how citizens throughout our nation’s history have made contributions. In addition, facilitators assist as needed in the day to day operation of the conference.
