How to Register

Registration to attend the National 4-H Conference is coordinated through the State 4-H Office.  Youth and adult participants are selected by their state 4-H program and attend the conference as part of a group delegation.  NO individual registrations are accepted.

DOWNLOAD the fillable/printable registration forms to submit to your State 4-H Delegation Coordinator.  Choose from the options below:

Youth Delegate Forms

• Code of Conduct Agreement Form
• Health & Medical Emergency Form - must be completed/signed after Feb.18, 2010 & brought with youth to register onsite. 

 

Delegation Adult Advisor Form

• Registration Form
• Delegation Adult Advisor Guidelines
• Health & Medical Emergency Form - must be completed/signed after Feb.18, 2010 and brought with adult to register onsite. 

 

RETURN the completed forms to your State 4-H Delegation Coordinator (due date set by the State 4-H Office).

Registration Rates

• Youth Delegates - $750
• Delegation Adult Advisors - $850

Registration rates include lodging* (5 nights), meals (except dinner on Tuesday, March 23 and lunch on Wednesday, March 24) and conference activities/materials.

 *Room check-in: 3:00pm on March 20 through check-out: 12:00pm on March 25.

Special Lodging Rate Early Arrival or Late Departure

A special lodging rate is available to delegations attending the conference who would like to extend their visit to Washington, DC.  The rate is being offered 2 nights before (March 18 and March 19) and 2 nights after (March 25 and March 26) the scheduled conference dates.  The special lodging rates - early arrival or late departure are:

• Youth Delegates - $43 pp/night (based on quad occupancy)
• Delegation Adult Advisors - $67 pp/night (based on double occupancy)

This special lodging rate is provided outside of the conference room block.  Therefore, based on room availability, Youth Delegates and/or Delegation Adult Advisors may be subject to relocating to a different room on the applicable special lodging rate nights.

Additionally, please note that 1) delegations are responsible for their own activities, costs, transportation, etc., outside of the scheduled conference dates and are not accountable to National 4-H Conference; 2) delegations must ensure youth delegates are appropriately chaperoned; and 3) lodging needs outside of the special lodging rates must be made directly with the National 4-H Youth Conference Center for reservations, call 301-961-2801.

Cancellation Policy

If a member of your delegation is unable to attend, you must send an email cancellation notice tonatl4hconf@nifa.usda.gov no later than February 15, 2010 for a full refund.  If your cancellation notice is received after February 15, 2010 there is no refund.
